SCHOOL UNIFORMS REPRESENT PRIDE
In Haiti, school uniforms can be a determining factor in whether parents and children choose to go to school. School uniforms represent pride. School uniforms are unique to each school, and therefore, give children a sense of pride in the school they attend and in themselves. Children who have uniforms to wear do not have to be concerned about whether they are dressed differently from other children. School uniforms can be as simple as a jumper for girls and a pair of slacks for the boys with matching shirts for both genders. You can see in the photos how special uniforms can be for the children.
